Our Services

Financial Plan Creation

We’re available for all steps of the planning process from discovery calls, data gathering, data review & organization, data entry into a planning software, financial plan creation, “What-If” scenario analysis, drafting an Executive Summary, plan reviews with advisors, and even plan presentation to the client.

You can tag us in or out as needed, offloading what you need. Typically advisors handle the discovery call, data gathering, and plan presentation steps - but we’re happy to assist whenever needed!

The cost of this service is $150 per hour, plans typically land around $2,000 give or take based on complexity, software choice, tasks need, desired output, and advisor specific requests.

Tax Plan Creation

Our attorney & tax-strategist, Jacob Stewart, JD works in conjunction with Brody to create tax plans for clients aligned with their financial plan. This comprehensive service includes reviewing the tax returns, discussing the overall financial plan, a consultation with your client, and help implementing strategies (which may include discussions with their tax preparer and coordinating with outside service providers as needed).

The cost of a full tax plan is a flat $3,000.

Business owners with significant income, properties, net worth, and children often benefit the most. Your typical high paid W-2 client may not benefit from this service as much as strategies are more limited.

Software Support

We support all financial planning software and have experience in eMoney, Money Guide Pro, Right Capital, NaviPlan, Advizr, Money Tree, and more. We maintain an in-house subscription to eMoney so you can simply share a client with us. Money Guide Pro & Right Capital make it very easy (as well as cheap or free) to set up a planner log-in for us.

This provides us with the access we need to create the plan while allowing you to maintain ownership of the data and control future access.

Values-Based Financial Planning

Brody has served as the financial planning subject matter expert on a variety of teams that use Bill Bachrach’s Values-Based Planning & Financial Roadmap approach coupled with Mark Little’s Trusted Advisor Toolkit™.

If you’re a Trusted Advisor in need of a Financial Planning Subject Matter Expert who is familiar with all the reports and systems - lets schedule a time to talk. I’ll be glad to provide samples of progress reports and critical reports as I’ve put my own spin on them based upon advisor feedback and data visualization techniques.

The cost for this service is $5,000 per year per client for financial planning only or $9,900 per year for financial planning, tax, estate, and life, long-term care, and disability insurance (Jacob covering the Tax & Estate roles & Bart covering insurance).

Independent Insurance Reviews

Our Chartered Life Underwriter and independent insurance expert, Bart Snyder, CLU works in conjunction with Brody to complete a full life, long-term care, and disability insurance review aligned with their financial plan.

This includes policy reviews, summarizing polices in a one-page Insurance Grid, and generating recommendations for coverage amounts, providers, and risk mitigation.

While not required or pushed, Bart is available to help your client implement policies as needed.

Odd Jobs

  • Software to software transfers

  • Custom spreadsheets

  • Pure data entry

  • A second set of eyes to error hunt and give feedback on an existing plan

  • Limited scope projects such as social security timing, pension options recommendations, college savings plan, house purchase analysis, and more can be provided.

No job is too big or too small.

Data Visualization & Output

Brody is obsessed with output and spends a lot of time creating and fine-tuning plan plan deliverable templates and learning about data visualization techniques.

This is an underrated component of the financial planning process as it is critical that the plan analysis and recommendations be presented in a way that is clean, actionable, and understandable.

While the financial planning softwares are great calculators, they often need help telling the narrative.

Financial Therapy

Our planner Jason Floyd, CFP®, CFT-I, MSFP has a certification in financial therapy which gives him an understanding of the human and emotional side of financial planning which helps inform some of our planning recommendations and how we frame them.

Jason is available for financial coaching sessions with your clients, helping them think, feel, communicate, and behave with money differently based upon the latest evidence based financial therapy research and techniques

Independent Estate Plan Reviews

Our attorney & tax-strategist, Jacob Stewart, JD is a managing attorney and partner of a nationwide law firm that specializes in estate planning. He is available to review your clients estate documents then create an easy to read, one page, Legacy Flow report, an Asset Titling report to outline current and recommended asset ownership, and provide a list of recommendations.

This work being done by an excellent Estate Attorney (as opposed to a financial planner or money manager putting on their “estate planning hat”) can add significant value!

The cost this service is $1,200. If afterwards, clients wish to use Jacob’s firm to implement their legal work, they would receive a 25% discount on the legal work. This is not required or pushed.
